Service Channel configuration for SAP Cloud Connector with S/4HANA trial

I am unable to create a Service Channel from a SAP Cloud Connector to a SAP S/4HANA Cloud trial and would like to know if this is permitted/possible and if so, how to determine the host or IP address to use for the tenant host.

We have the SAP Cloud Connector instance running on a test 'on premise' system and it is successfully connected with the S/4HANA trial account. We've successfully mapped back-end resources and defined/tested Destinations from the Cloud Cockpit for Cloud to On Premise connectivity. This all works properly.

As a test we've successfully created a Database Schema on the S/4HANA Cloud trial environment and defined a Service Channel for that Schema for 'On Premise' to Cloud connectivity. This also works properly.

When I try to create a S/4HANA Cloud Service Channel, it is not clear from documentation or system information which hostname to use for the cloud tenant. My attempts are failing for these three hostnames, and assuming my Cloud Trial ID is pNNNNtrial, the SAP CC reporting as shown:

  1. hanatrial.ondemand.com: SAP CC reports 'HTTP/1.0 301 Moved Permanently.
    Location: https://account.hanatrial.ondemand.com'
  2. pNNNN.hanatrial.ondemand.com: SAP CC reports 'HTTP/1.0 503 Service Unavailable.
    Server: BigIPM'
  3. pNNNNtrial.hanatrial.ondemand.com: SAP CC reports 'HTTP/1.0 503 Service Unavailable.
    Server: BigIPM'

The Cloud Connector has connections to AWS IP addresses (reported by netstat). All the host names I've tried resolve to the same target IP (presumably IP redirector on AWS) but basically the connectivity is good in both directions.

I just need to know how to find out which hostname (or IP address) should be used or get confirmation that the OnDemand Trial does not enable the connection. Is there a way to test the S/4HANA Cloud Service Channel from the Cloud Connector using the trial account some other/better way?

Thanks in advance.
