Product Location combination is avilable in /SAPAPO/MAT1 in APO but not assigned to Active Model 000

Hello Experts,

In APO, Product Location combination is available in /SAPAPO/MAT1 but there is no assignment of Product Location combination to active Model (000). I checked both material and location in ECC, both are assigned to active model (000) individually but I'm not able to understand what makes Mat-Loc combination that it's not assigned to active Model in APO.

Hi Arpit,

You need to assign the combination to the model..

Creating a product at location can bring that combination to //MAT1 but to work with transactional and master data for it we need to assign it to the model.

If an individual product is assigned to model, it might be for Global ( all locations) but actually planning happens at mat-loc combination so it's necessary to assign it to the model..

Master data (Mat-loc) is getting CIF from ECC to APO but combination is not assigned to the active model.

Can you please let me know what is missing in my above statement. As per you, it should be assigned to the model.

How is it assigned automatically? and if it's not assigned to the model, what's making it unassigned?

Mat-Loc is created in ECC system.
