Hi Experts,

can u pls suggest me with step by step configuration for Creating Reasons in Transactions.

and how can we configure organisational Data profile,can u pls suggest with step by step config........

hi

what do you mean by reasons ,you mean to say status reason

if you meant that then i must tell you giving the reason for different transaction is different ,i am giving here how you can give the reason for the Activity

it is like:

to configure reason in activity actually is a standard procedure u have to follow

first u go and u have a activity catalog with u,then u need to create the activity code groups under which u need to assign the activity codes,these codes are actually the reasons which u will be giving to the system and they will display on screen of activity as reasons

also u need to maintain the activity code profile in which particlaur activity code group will be assigned and in those code groups u have ur corrosponding codes which u have maintained.

after u r done with it u have to assign these to ur subject profile

next step is to assign ur subject profile to ur transaction.

one thing u should note that for specifying reasons for lead and activity there is a difference that is u can cope the standard LEAD catalog but for Activity the standard catalog should be used ,u cant copy that.

so just go to SPRO

and then in CRM--->Transactions

there in do as i said ,as u will proceed u will have to take help of ur basis guy ,because when u have to give code the system will refuse u,for that ask ur basis guy that what is the error coming ,he will give u the permission,then jus right the code

see this is a standard process ,u should not miss a single step and the way u will proceed should be the same else u wont be able to attach the reasons

after u have done this then go to

assign Status and Subject profile to Transaction and do the same for each and every category

just see the standard how they are there ,then u will do it easily

For ORG data profile determination

Determine the org data rule through the wizard and in attributes u mention these attributes wht u required.
