First of all, I don't think that there is a right answer.

Second, the best way to learn is to have hands-on experience in HCM systems - maybe you can get it in your current workplace.

Third, there are specialized degrees focusing on HR - so this is a broad area to cover.

Fourth, the courses out there are normally not cheap, and you should do the value for money calculation before enrolling.

Having said all that and you still want some certification, I would check with your local SAP certification provider for the SAPHR course -

    SAP ERP HCM Overview.

This course is a good starting point and from there you can figure out if any other courses could also help you.

I have not taken this course and I am basing this answer on the syllabus that is provided online.

    Best of luck to you.
