relationship between job and it´s creator

I have a question about job creator. One former employee has created a job. When I run SE37 to the job overview. I see his name is in the column "created by". But this job should be a daily job. I can only check the record for last ten days. The status shows the job is been cancelled all the time.

My assumption is because his user ID is not valid from 01.12.2017, so the job could not run any more.

Could someone advise me if this is correct? And do I need to create a new job?
