    HI Manoja,

I am not sure i understand clearly what you are expecting.

See as far as invoice is concerned it major function is exactly the same as bill by a Shopping Mall or Pizza hut.

It serves as a official note to customer indicating what is the amount to be paid by customer for a particular purchase.

In other words it is the SAP representation of Bills in real tie business.

    Hope it helps

    Post for Further clarification

    Regards

    Abhishek

    Hi

Invoice is a document based on which the customer is charged. It carries all the details like whether it was a cash sale or credit memo or a proforma invoice or a repair invoice etc.

At header level, It will carry the payer details, invoice date, tax details, company code details, partner detailz and the sales organisation details.

At item level it carries the items in the document, quantity and the price of the individual items.

The document also acts as a reference to the accounting document.

    Regards

    Dear majoja

An invoice or bill is a commercial document issued by a seller to the buyer, indicating the products, quantities, and agreed prices for products or services the seller has provided the buyer. An invoice indicates the buyer must pay the seller, according to the payment terms.

From the point of view of a seller, an invoice is a sales invoice. From the point of view of a buyer, an invoice is a purchase invoice. Once you raise the invoice, the customer gets debited and your sales gets credited.

    thanks
