User exit to check batch in VL01N/VL02N

Hi.

My requirement goes as follows:

I should check the expiry date of the batch in VL01N & VL02N before I do “POST GOODS ISSUE’, if the batch is expired one, I should trigger the error message, then the user should be able to correct the entry and do the posting.

I used the exit ‘FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE’, I could get the error message but I am unable to change the entries, it shows the error ‘Risk of posting of many material documents’ and it comes out of the VL01N/VL02N transaction.

Kindly let me know of any User Exit to solve the problem.

Regards

Ganesan
