Donated Leave Program

We are looking to implement a donated leave program where employees who have extra vacation or sick time can donate hours to a bank. Employees who have exceeded their sick leave and are in need of extra hours can be granted hours from this bank. Does anyone have a similar program, and if so, how have you implemented it? Thanks in advance!

HI this is common practice in Public sector.

You have to configure Absence pool infotype 696 and then you can use infotype 613 to donate the leave.

Payroll ->Payroll USA > supliments Public sector US >Time Management >Absence pools -->Create Absence pools

    to create absence pols(Infotype 696)

    and use 613 to donate.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I have set up the different absence pools - we will be using Amount Pools. When I try to create the entry on IT0613, I get an error message "No exchange rate Wage type defined." I have created a wage type and entered the value of the hours donated using this wage type on IT0014. What step am I missing?

I found the place in IMG to link the wage type. It is in the absence pool attributes.

    Thanks for your assistance!!
