DB6 went down

HI

can anybody tell me what all checks can be done to check why the db went down.

Please tell me all the traces where i can i find the possible error for db down.

    Hi,

    first check the contents of the db2diag.log file. This file is located in the directory the DBM CFG parameter DIAGPATH is pointing to.

    On UNIX this is in SAP installations. /db2/<DBSID>/db2dump

    To help support later you should use the db2support to collect data for further analysis.
