All,
Is there a way to save a query to a role in PFCG directly. Here is our dilemma: We have created about 10 queries without saving them to a role in query designer. Now, we want to add them to a role without having to resave them.
I tried to add them manually by selecting the "Add other object" button and choosing "SAP BW Query URL".
I then copied and pasted the "Object Description" field from another query that works. It looked liked this: "<prt_protcl>://<prt_server>/<bi_launcher>?QUERY=Z_ZMAR001_Q0011"
After creating this entry, it does not show up in either BEx analyzer or Web analyzer. Should this work? Is there an easier way?
By the way, as an admin, I can get to the query through the "Info Area" button in BEx and the queries have not been saved to a role at all. This is why the end user can;t see the queries.
Thanks
Hello Rodney,
Why don't you publish in a role from query designer, this way you are just giving the reference of your query in the role and not saving it again.
