Dear ,

You can do that useing the Scope of planning .You can use total planning for a single plant or you can use the scope of planning to control whether the total planning run is executed on a multi-plant level that can be either one of them

1.several plants

2.one MRP area

3.for several MRP areas

4.a combination of plants and MRP areas.

Now you have to go OM0E where u have to configure the Scope of planning and in sequence u have to assing the Plants,MRP area ok.

Then go to MD01 assing that scope of planning to run the MRP with your requiret settings .

Hope this will clear you problem.

Hi Senthil,

MRP for one Finished Product will not consider the stock on other Plant.

With Scope of Plan you can run MRP for Multiple Plants.

This kind of collaborative Planning is available in APO only

Thanks and regards

In the scope of check you can define all the other plants/MRP Areas which you want to consider.

Hope this helps..

Hi Senthil,

First of all I admit that my suggestion would not be as 100% per your requirement.

It means, if you want to use the scope of planning, it must be at plant(s) level for all the materials which are relevant. ( only for some finished products it is not possible).

I appreciate Mr. Murugesan's comments..

Now let's come to the point.

If you want to do planning for Multiple Plants then proceed as follows:

1. T. Code : OM0E

2. Planning Scope : Put 4 digit (Alphabets/numeric) & Description

3. Double click on Sequence of plants (Left Side)

4. Put your Plants as per sequence (As per priority wise)

i.e System will plan for Plants in this sequence only.

5. Use this Scope of planning in MD01 or MDBT as required.

Planning file entries created via stock transfer are automatically taken into account in the planning run.

This ensures that a material is also correctly planned in all plants affected even in the case of

stock transfer processing.

Best Regards,

Siva

Hi,

Scope of planning is used to run mrp for

1. Several plants

2. One mrp area

3. Multiple mrp areas

4. Combination of plant & mrp area

To create a scope of planning use tcode OM0E.

1. Give alphanumeric no. to create scope of planning.

2. Assign your Plants & save.

3. Use tcode MD01 to run scope of planning, enter your scope.

4. Make tick mark in parallel processing in initial screen of MD01. (bottom)

5. Now you can see the result in MD04.

6. Before run MRP, input your server name in Define parallel processing in MRP in customized setting.
