Install Hana Cloud Connector in another server

Hi,

In our client we have to make the integration between SFSF and SAP HCM using HCI/HCP.

The HCC is installed in another server and the ERP (SAP HCM) running in another one. The question, is how to make the connection between the two systems ? any advice ?

or is mandatory to have the HCC and the ERP (SAP HCM) running in the same server ?

Regards,

Edgar Salcedo

    Hi Edgar

You need to configure the properly access control (HTTP, RFC or TCP) in your Cloud Connector for Cloud to On-Premise scenario. For additional information regarding to how to configure each access control type please refer to SAP Help Configure Access Control.

You should not install your Cloud Connector in your SAP ERP application server, it must be installed separately in order to not put in risk your SAP ERP system.

    Hi Edgar

Your setup is fine, as long as the HCM system is reachable over the network from the Cloud Connector host.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help.

Now, the connection is ok, but when we do a ping to the WebService CO_SFIOMX_ORG_OBJECT_REPL_QRY, it doesn't appear in the monitor of HCC.

I think the configuration may be wrong.
