visual stuio 2013 running correctly with sap crystal reports

I just changed a 2010 desktop that uses crystal reports to 2013.

I also downloaded the sap crystal reports for visual studio 2013 from your visual studio developer crystal report download site

Note I did this type of a download 3 years ago on my same computer.

I then went to change the framework to 4.5.1 and everything built ok. However when I tried to access SAP crystal reports within the 2013 application, I got the error message, "Could not load file or assembly 'file///C'\Program Files (x86)/SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI'.

Note in this directory, I have 2 files that are either for 32 bit from before and 64 bit from today's download.

Thus can you tell me what you think I did incorrectly with the SAP crystal report files and/or what do I need to do to make the visual studio 2013 know where the directory path listed above is located at?

Do I need to install a different version of visual studio on my computer so that it matches a SAP crystal report version that is needed? If so, what version of visual studio so I need to download?

    Hi Diane,

Try removing the references for Crystal and adding the new ones back in. Rebuild and see if that fixes it.

    Good luck,
