"Document is being distributed - changes are not possible" in Service Desk

After changing a newly created Service Desk message, further chanegs are impossible and we get the following message:

"Document is being distributed - changes are not possible"

I have read that a custom Status Schema without correct Transaction Control Parameters can cause this.

However, we get this even when using the standard Status Schema (SMSD0001)

Any idea what can cause this?

    Hi Per,

    You've got to go in transaction crmbs02 choose your status profile, then double-click on every status to access Transaction control parameter and set the Forbidden and No action values for parameter To be distributed.
