Absence Quota Generation Issue

Dear HCM Experts,

I have a requirement to accrue the annual leave quota 6 months after the employee hiring date.

So I have configured the deduction interval of the annual leave quotas as attached.

The problem is when an employee is hired in the middle of the year, so as per the requirement the annual leave should be carried over in the next year, however when I generated the annual leave quotas of the next year, it gives the full entitlement and completely ignored the entitlement from the previous year.

I'm wondering if I can achieve this through a standard system configuration.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Remi,

Sorry I forgot to add the attachment.

1- if an employee is hired at the beginning of the year ( for example 01.01.2017) the quota deduction start date will be 01.01.2017, and the employee will get the full annual leave balance(15 days)

2- If an employee is hired in the middle of the year ( for example 01.07.2017) the quota deduction start date will be 01.01.2018, and the employee and in the following year the employee should get the full balance of 2018 ( 15 days) + the 7.5 days from 2017

1 - Have you done some searches on that issue?

2 - You mentionned "as attached", but I can't see any documentation on your configuration.

3 - Please detail your requirements:

  • what should happen when an employee is hired at the beginning of the year
  • what should happen when an employee is hired in the middle of the year
  • what should happen in the following year(s).
