Post Installation Configuration of CE 7.1

Hi All,

I have just re-installed my CE 7.1 trial server.I want to do the Initial System Configuration through the Configuration wizard.I opened the NWA and selected Configuration Management>Scenarios>Configuration Wizard.

But under Initial Configuration view it is not showing any tasks(Net Weaver Initial System Set Up).I am following [this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwce10/helpdata/en/98/fa9b6ec510404dbcfebf35cb107c04/content.htm] help doc.

How can I resolve this issue.

i cant find Initial setup of functional unit SLD in configuration wizard. plzzz help

may be you need to switch to development mode from production mode.

note : are you able to see the "Content admin tab" after loging into the portal with Administrator. if no then switch to "Decelopment mode"

Hello,

i assume that you mean the initial configuration steps for DI, CBS, CMS and DTR?

I had the same behaviour in the NWA and it seems that the cause for this problem is quite simple. NW CE 7.1 does not contain the components DI and so on, these components are installed on a pure NW 7.0 machine and are initially configured there, too. If this happened, you should be abled to "connect" your CE7.1 applications with the functionalities given with the NW7.0 installation...

Maybe this helps, i needed quite long to figure out that NWDI etc. are not part of CE7.1 but of NW7.0

edit: after reading your questions and my answer a few times, i don´t think that this could be an answer to your problem... Would be interesting if i had hit the target fully blind..

I have the same problem.

I can see some entries if I select "All configuration tasks". However I cannot see the Initial setup of functional unit SLD anyware.
