Server-side integration sync from Outlook to C4C


I need to know how to synchronize existing appointments/visits in Outlook to C4C.

Customer scenario:

Customer receives a meeting request in Outlook.

To synchronize the meeting into C4C, he needs to accept the meeting request in Outlook AND Add Visit via the server-side Add-In to synchronize to C4C.

But in this way the visit is TWICE in Outlook (one not synchronized into C4C and only existing in Outlook, and one synchronized to C4C).

What's the best way of working to synchronize an incoming meeting request in Outlook to C4C?

    Dear Anne,

    In the Outlook appointment categories you can find "SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer" category.

    If you will enter to an existing appointment in your Outlook and choose this category, the appointment will synchronize to your C4C.

      I managed to reproduce the issue which you encountered.

      It seems the add-on has limitation to sync appointments which someone else created.

      I reproduced it by asking my colleague to send an invitation to me an appointment from his outlook without choosing the "SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer" category. After I received his appointment, I chose the relevant category and received this error as well.

      Conclusion: you can't sync appointment invitations which you received from other parties. You can sync appointments which you created. Appointments which were created by other user's outlook from the same tenant and which were assigned to "SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer" category, will be sync to your calendar as well (assuming that you were invited of course).
