Dear Experts ,
I have a scenario where the MTS material will be consumed internally for internal department use against a cost center field available in the sales order. When I try to do a Goods issue against the O/B delivery the system is throwing an error message which says Update control of movement type is incorrect ( entry 333 X X _L_V). The diagnosis says , it is not able to find the above entry in the movement type control table . I checked OMJJ for movement type 333 and I find that the indicator "L" is not available for the exact same entry which the system is asking for , though I see the checks against value and quantity and "V" under consumption column.
I have made sure that the missing entries which I am getting as error while posting GI is maintained in OMJJ and T156SY table . I am not sure why the system is still not allowing me to post the GI.
Thanks Sai
Your entry looks different to the other entries, it has no text. Sometimes SAP is really picky and expects to have the text to be able to find a record. I am not certain that this is the case here, but I know for sure that SAP does not allow to use movements if there is no help text maintained in OMJJ

333 movement type is used for sampling purpose. If your requirement is just to issue to cost center, then you can use the 201 movement type as suggested by Veselina.
About the error, it is not enough to just to create an entry in table T156SY. Look into the OSS note for an example 637370 - Error message M7226 for entry 333 X X W _ _ V

Hi Dibyendu,
The OSS note is for consignment scenario and I don't think it actually applies to my scenario. If another movement type is the ONLY option to address my situation , then I need to conclude that movement type 333 is not going to work. I will wait for experts feedback to give me some direction.
Thanks
Sai
Sure. Let me go step by step on what I did and then the entries which I performed in OMJJ and T156SY table.
Step 1: Below is the error I am getting while trying to do PGI for a delivery . Note : This is a zero dollar order with a cost center entered . The idea is to use the materials for internal use and charge the relevant cost center .
Since the movement type 333 is cost element relevant , I understand that the system is expecting the entries with both L and V in OMJJ, which I made ( below screen shot).
Step 2:
Even after making the above entry, the system was looking into T156SY for the same entries which I made ( Below screen shot)
Now, after making the entries in T156SY, system is throwing a different error ( below screen shot).
My question is...Is 333 the right movement type to be used in case of internal consumption use with a cost center . I tried checking all the threads related to this error and majority of them point to only OMJJ entries for that movement type. I am not sure why I am getting this error even after maintaining the entries . Is SAP expecting the entries in run time from LIPS- KZVBR. I checked my sales order and delivery for consumption indicator "V" in respective tables, and both doesn't have .
I am thinking if I should create a copy of standard "601" movement type and make the settings in OMJJ to GI the delivery for the above scenario.
Any help in the above case, will direct me to the right solution .
Thanks
Sai

Can you share the data from T156SY table for this movement type?
