Hi All,

When I use HANA Studio to observe an analytic view, I find that in semantic node every column of a view has a label, which can be edited by users to describe the column. However physical table columns do not have label.

- I am wondering that does this label information stored physically in any system table or columns views. By select which table can we see the label information.
- Could it be possible to fetch the label information by using ODBC/JDBC or other way? Thanks.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you will find the column labels for views in View SYS.VIEW_COLUMNS:

Thanks Thorste. Sorry I did not clarify myself clearly.

What I want is the label information in the view. I have highlight it in the picture. Could you please share some experience about how to fetch them?

Best Regards

Hi Xiejun,

I think there is no way to join the label for a field from outside....

Best Regards
