Hi friends,

While creating archivig object, the system is asking me to give the write program name and delete program name.So how to maintain those program names?

Is write and delete programs were dependent archiving object?

My doubt is write & delete programs were predefined for archiving objets?I am in confusion how to maintain write and delete program names at the time of creation on archiving object

Thanks in advance,

Chandu.

Hi Chandu,

Archiving of business data can be carried out by Archiving Object. AO is a pool of programs which helps in writing archive file through Write job, delete program to delete the data that is archived, read program, and so on.

For most of the SAP defined tables there are Archiving objects (Contains all the required program check in AOBJ transaction).

For more information please see help.sap.com

Coming to you question: What is your archiving object used? Please work archiving process through Archive development kit (SARA).

Goto AOBJ transaction and check for the programs for your archiving objects.

Reward if it benifits.

Ajay

Hi Chandu,

Archiving concept remains same in R/3 system, CRM, BW system but slightly various in the process steps.

Structure defination of archiving object mainly says what are the tables that archiving object will consider for archiving. I have not worked on this structure defination but seeing in AOBJ transaction i can say this.

FI_DOCUMNT: Before & After archiving FI documents you can check if in SE16 transaction for table entries (BKPF).

For Retrieving the FI document after archiving then use FB03 transaction.

Please double click on my name to get required details to contact me.

Reward if it is benifits

-Thanks,
