i knew infopackage and dtp both are data loading mechanisams . infopackage is used to extract the data from other source system to bw where as dtp loads the data with in the bi .

my doubt is .....why don't we use the infopackage in the both areas

They are both loading objects, however, when comunicating with external world, the system needs diferent protocols than comunicating internally. The InfoPackage specifies when and how to load data from a given source system. BW generates a 30-digit code starting with ZPAK as an InfoPackage's technical name. Also, it has a lot of information: the DataSource, extraction structure, fields to be extracted, technology of extraction and so on. The DTP doesn't need many of these informations, as it has only to move the data around the BW to external tools for reporting! This is why we have both ! 😉
