Custom Web Dynpro Page for Overview Page in Home Page Framework

Hello,

Has anybody build a custom web dynro page with content from KM, Lotus Notes, along with areas in overview page?. Please share your experience.

Huh? I think you are overthinking this too much. My suggestion...

Create a portal page object.

Create iViews for each of your content needs (km, lotus, etc).

Assign the iViews to the page and arrange them as needed.

You do not...and should not...create one big WebDynpro to contain all of those things.

Currently, our ESS main page is actually a page object that has 3 iViews on it...top one runs a scrolling "ticker" script, middle one is the iView to the ESS Overview page, and the bottom iView is a BSP that shows support info based on the user.
