Restriction on Account- C4C

Hi All,

We have a scenario where 2 Business Units are implemented on the same tenant- one for sales and other for service. Visibility of Sales BU is already restricted with access context ' Sales organization' so that is fine. Now we want to restrict Accounts of Service BU so that all the service users can see all the accounts of Service BU but no Account of Sales BU.

How can we restrict Accounts in such a scenario. We do have Sales Org field in Service BU accounts but the actual org(Sales) is not present in the C4C tenant as all accounts are coming from ECC.

P.S.- We do not have any account team for Accounts and no territory concept

Thanks,

Mohit

Hey Mohit,

I think the best way to go is using Define specific restrictions and selecting the relevant Service Units.

I cannot think of anything better for the moment.

Kind regards,

Carina.

Hi Mohit

We are facing a similar issue relating to ticket visibility for agents in different territories. Agents in Territory A can, using the left hand search button, see tickets outside of Territory A. We are trying to restrict this access so that Agents can only see tickets in their designated Territories throughout the system.

In the main Service -> Tickets screen the territory restriction works as expected but we've removed the All Tickets drop down option to make this possible.

Did you get an answer to your above question?

Many thanks
