Master Data extraction from ECC to BPC via SLT method

Hi Friends,

We would like to load master data(E.g.Profit center) from ECC to BPC via SLT. Replicated data into HANA tables and created caluclation view. View producing master data output.

Can you anyone please suggest approach load view output to a dimension in BPC 10.1 NW. System details: BPC 10.1 NW on HANA.

What BW version are you?

Depending on the version the best way to integrate BPC and HANA is through virtual objects. Hierarchies can be a bit tricky though..

But in a nutshell:

1- Slt

2- HANA calc view

3- IO based on the view

4- Normal BPC load from IO.

No way for bpc standard!

Not for standard, by design, the BW technical objects is controlled by BPC and it's not advisable to alter those in the backend.

For BPC standard you have to use standard DM packages to load from BW.

Another option is to write your own badi to load data.

P.S. Same for transactional data.

Ours is standard version of BPC 10.1 NW on HANA...could you please explain options like real-time and, batch mode(DM package)...thanks.
