why it goes to 922 Q

Hello,

My situation is, if this part number and this batch only has one inspection lot. Before UD, when I look it up by LS24 I can see it’s only 1 line with Q for this batch, and after UD, in LS24 I can see it’s still one line with no Q for this batch. This is correct. But sometimes, it might be that this part number and this batch is included into more inspection lot. Before UD, when I look it up by LS24 I can see it’s only 1 line with Q for this batch, and after all UD, in LS24 I can see it’s not 1 line with no Q, but partial with no Q and partial is in storage type 922 with Q. and the worse is, even I use LU04 to post it, it tell me “No quants exist for posting changes”. How to make it same as when I do it for one inspection lot?

Any transfer posting goes via 922, you just might not see it if the situation is straight and customized to post automatically or immediately.

However, in case of several inspection lots or several storage bins SAP cannot know which quant shall be used to complete the transaction, hence it needs help from the user, needs that the user manually selects those quants, and this should be possible in LU04 if several quants exist.

However, if several quants have merged into just one, then you have just a very ugly situation.
