stock removal from storage location

Dear All,

System showing some stock at various storage location, but whic is physically not in location. Every month balance sheet this stock is shwoing.

Please explain me any how to delete this stock from those storage locations.

Hi sap gurus,

there was an production order xxxxx for a machine. so all the materials was booked for that order. then , suddenly the requirements changed. so, they stopped the order n used the whole material for another similar order. any extra material needed 4 the new production order was added to the new one and closed the new order. But, they hav not sent back the materials for the old production order. It has resulted in over valuation of the stock-WIP. i/e., there is a machine worth 15 lakhs on the system virtually. wheras in reality, physically, the machine doen't exist.

Now, the issue is if u want to reverse the work in progress on 31.03.08, will the system let us do (i.e. can we reverse a WIP on a previous date??). if so, pls suggest the complete procedure including Tcode's to use.

Hi,

Physical stock can be matched with system stock by creating physical Inventory Document. Select the material in MI01 ( you can either block the selected material for further transactions until the document is posted or freeze it so that transactions you did after selecting the material will not affect your counting).

Enter the actual stock in MI04.

You can see the difference in terms of value in MI07. Enter the reason for difference and save the document.

Hi

For that Material-Storage Location combination....create separate Physical Inventory Document in MI01...

Then in MI04....for that Physical Inventory documents.....Pl check Zero Count Check box

Then for that Physical inventory documents....post the diff.in MI07...

Now you willnot get those un available stock in the system
