Period Open and Closing

Hi Gurus,

As today is 1st april and we have fiscal year April to March.

I opened 1 to 16 periods in 2007, so what should i do to open periods for 2008????

What changes should i make in periods of 2007???

Please revert asap.

in the from Period 1 you give 1 (April)

Year :2008

To Period you give 1 (April)

Year : 2008

Period 2 you give 12 (March)

Year :2007

To Period you give 16

Year : 2007

By this April 2008 will be opened and March 2007 including special periods will be opened

Hi,

Use tcode ob52 to open period for 2008. And about period in 2007 I will sugest u to keep period 13 to 16 open if you dont want to post entires in 2007. Perios 13 to 17 u can use for balance sheet adjustments if you want to close period 1 to 12 to control entries in 2007& thus u can trace entires which are entered in 2001 after year end.

Dear Sir,

You need to keep open the 1st period for the of fiscal year 2008 and also 12 th prd of thefiscal year 2008

let the special periods will remain in opening position.

Give the range of open 12 th prd 2007 to 1st of 2008 as posting periods and

Give the range of open 13 th prd 2007 to 16th of 2007 as special periods.
