Error Scheduling Process Chain

Hi All,

I am unable to schedule any of my process chains. I am getting following error while scheuling:

Job BI_PROCESS_DTP_LOAD could not be scheduled. Termination with returncode 8

In SM37, I couldn't find any job that is still running. I also verified that all the DTPs in the chain are active and none of them is running while I am trying to execute the process chain. Moreover the data is loading perfectly without process chain.

Kindly advise.

Kindly check with your basis/authorisation team - if you have authorisation for running process chains.You can also check if there is any specific execution user maintained for your process chain/

I can see following error in my system log

> User ALEREMOTE cannot be scheduled due to its type

BP_JOB_EDITOR: Job BI_PROCESS_DTP_LOAD is invalid. Reason:

I believe there is some problem with the type of ALEREMOTE User. The type is specified as Communications Data.

Hi,

Goto the Planning View of the Process Chain.

Here goto "Process chain" >>> Display/Change.

Again goto "Process chain" >>> Attributes >>> Execution User >>> tick "Current User".

Save and then run the Process chain.

This time it should work.

Yeah it works. So does it means that the problem is because of User Type of ALEREMOTE User?

Yes the problem is because of the user ALEREMOTE which does not have sufficient authorization.

Hi Anup/Experts

I am facing an error in process chain ....saying "CALLER 09 Error from the Source System" for the planning cube chains...

Sometime it is working, sometime it doesnt work. Do you have any idea what actually it is??
