Hi,

Can anybody send me documents regarding financial statement version. how to group all the schedule and assign the gl to financial statement version. Points will be assigned. Advancely thanks

Hi,

you have to define finalcial statement version in

SPRO ==> Financial Accounting (New) ==> General Ledger Accounting (New)==> Master Data ==> G/L Accounts ==> Define Financial Statement Versions

if standard country versions are suited make a copy from it.

then make changes in T code FSE2

Financial Statement Versions

Definition

Hierarchical arrangement of G/L accounts.

The accounts can be arranged in accordance with the legal regulations used to generate your financial statements. Alternatively, you can arrange the accounts in accordance with your requirements.

Use

You need a financial statement version for the following functions:

To create and print financial statements

To run various reports, such as a structured list of account balances

As a basis for planning in General Ledger Accounting

You can define several different financial statement versions. This may be necessary if you want to generate the financial statements using different formats.

The standard system is delivered with predefined financial statement versions. You can copy these or modify them for your own versions.

If you want to create financial statements for ledgers of the Special Purpose Ledger, define the version using the set method. You can use the Report Writer for printing. For more information, see the Special Purpose Ledger documentation.

The country template for India comes with its own financial statement version, BAIN. You can use it to prepare financial statements in accordance with Schedule VI of the Companies Act 1956. This act lists the headings under which the individual accounts are to be grouped. Each of the headings is represented by an item in the financial statement version.
