Problem with workflow - SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S

HI

I am facing the following problem with workflow.

The workflow contains one step (activity) for scheduling one program to release the Internal order through Ko02 and update the Budget distribution through IM52 in background. For this we created one program which is attached to method and calling this method from the workflow by creating one task and the task is scheduled in background.

The updation was happing for most orders but It is not updating properly for some orders .

For that updation failed orders ,in workflow the task is still showing " In process " from last 2 days and it is showing the error " SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S " .

Please tell me that why this error "SWW_WI_ERROR_MESSAGE_SEND_S "is coming .How can I proceed to resolve this .

This step is a background step and binding is perfect ( the updation is happening for all other Internal orders ,only in 2/3 cases it is happening like this this ) .

Please suggest.

Thanks and Regards

Madhukar.

    Hi Madhukar,

You might be using some write statement as a result this error is coming. Cross check with the method which is being called in the background.

Check the Workflow container and try to check the code assigning values to the respective parameters of your backgropund program. I feel there is some data related issue that is making the workflow to remain stuck.

      Thanks

    Madhukar,

I am guessing that in some IO's your workflow definition is not correct, I mean some where is missing. It looks to me that this FM is not error of cause, this message is trying to send out message when error occurs (means error has already been occurred).

try to check SM21 and ST22 for those orders, I am sure you will get some thing, you may check for SM58 .

    Hope it will help

    Cheers

    Jai
