Workflow Log in UWL/Portal

Hi All:

we are using ECC 6.0 and setup the UWL in portal 7.0 with ECC 6 , when we finish the connection of UWL and ECC , we could see all work items in portal . but problem comes.

We could see all workflow log though any workitem in this workflow in TCODE SWI1 and SBWP , but I do not know how to check the log in portal ? Is there any package for workflow which could provide the iview for graphic workflow log ?

any suggestion will be helpful

Hi,

The only workflow "log" that is available in EP 7.0 is the "show history" functionality in UWL. I think that if you want to use it, you need to configure it in the UWL iView config. But it is not a graphical log, and actually it is not that user friendly or useful at all (for example you cannot see that who is(are) currently the agent(s) of the work item, etc.

Thank you first . and the "Show history" is not acceptable for customers , just as you said , it's not useful .

anybody know if SAP provide some BAPI for the workflow log ? sth like Workitem ID as import parameter , and internal table as log for return . If so maybe we could use this BAPI to develop our own graphic workflow log ivew .

I don't know if they use a BAPI, but you can probably find out by debugging.

Dont know whether you find any solution for this

Might be this FM would help you out SWW_WI_LOG_READ_ALL, yes this FM takes WI Id as import.

Alternatively you can use where use list for table SWWLOGHIST, which stores all history data.

I am not sure if there is a way to show the workflow log in the portal. I don't remember seeing an option for that.
