Reporting of competency assessment results

We have CDP form in use for development dialogues. This form includes a job family based competency profile with rating 1 to 5.

I have created dashboards about the process: how many have completed competence assessment form. I have also created some ad hoc reports and excel graphics about competency distribution filtered by different attributes like organization, hay grade, employee sub group, job family and job code. I have also created some spidernet graphics to visualize the competency gaps. SF provides several standard dashboards about competencies like strongest competencies or weakest competencies, but they seem not suitable for our usage.

what kind of reporting do you find usefull for business? what kind of reporting tools are you using. Any best practises for Online reporting tool? Any good reporting models?
