Variant Configuration: Net value 0

Former Member

Hi everyone,

I have followed the configuration procedure I saw in thread "Variant material pricing"

which I found in this forum but when I create a sales order and give the right values to the material characteristics, it seems that all the pricing configuration is being ignored since the system shows:

-Net Value = 0

I would be grateful if someone could explain which things should I review or analyze for the price to be calculated successfully.

Thanks in advance and best regards.

Ben.

Hi Suresh,

Thanks for your valuable help.

Anyway, I have already followed that steps you proposed but with no success.

1. I have created characteristic ZPRICE with reference to SDCOM-VKOND.

2. In transaction VK11, I have created two records for type condition VA00 as follows:

Variant: A

Amount: 2 EUR

Variant: B

Amount: -1 EUR

3. I have created an assignment procedure for values 'A' and 'B' in characteristic 'M_M' with the following sentences, respectively:

$self.ZPrice='A'

$self.ZPrice='B'

Afterthat, I have created a sales order for my configurable material and I gave value 'A' to characteristic 'M_M'. At this point the Net value that is shown is 0.

After I press the button 'Engineering', I have checked that the characteristic ZPRICE has acquired the right value ('A') because of the procedure I defined previously.

Anyway I cannot see the Net Value any longer and I do not know how to see if the variant price is being calculated right.

Thanks again for your help and best regards.

Hi,

1. Created a characteristic (multi value) that refers to table SDCOM, field VKOND. The characteristic is assigned to the variant class for the configurable material.

2. Maintain condition records for the variant conditions in the sales data of the material master record for the configurable material.

3.create a pricing procedure dependency

4. assign the procedures to either the characteristic values that trigger the variant conditions or the configuration profile, depending on the condition defined in the procedures.

configure the material in s/o and get net price
