Hi,

I have installed XI 7.0 (SP 09) on my home PC with Java 1.4.

Will it create any problem if I move to Java 5.0 from 1.4?

Please advise me.

    Dear Bala Raja,

Latest recommended SAP JDK for NW7.0 is 1.4.2_16.

SAP Recommendation = SAP will support all j2ee applications that are installed with J2EE engine runing with a jdk <= 1.4.2_16

Since it is a test system you may use it. May be you have to change the Java home in the environment variable.

    Rgds,

    Mat.
