easy dms search error the parameter is icorrect

Hello

while searching in Easy DMS user is getting error as the parameter is incorrect.

he is entering the document no in search window then the error message is coming.

can any one help me to know the possible reasons for this error.

When searching in EasyDMS normally the BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLIST2 is involved here by RFC call to the backend. Maybe it could help to set an external breakpoint to this BAPI by using transaction SRDEBUG for example and see what kind of data is passed to it.

Otherwise this needs to be debugged by SAP support.

Hi,

could you please share the EasyDMS version used and also a screenshot showing the search entries. Does the search work fine in the backend system using CV04N transaction?

Hi Christoph,

I'm currently facing the same issue at a customer.

CV04n works fine, but not at all in EasyDM. Problem occurs only on a single PC.
Authorisations and RFC-Cache has been cleared.

We are currently running 7.1.6.5 Unicode on Windows 10.

Was there a solution back then for this question?
