I have a doubt, is it possible to use VC for seeing a ALV report from SAP R/3, and use all VC properties, table, charts, filters, etc.... ????

Umm! well, RFC or BAPI, or Are both correct???
Every BAPI is an RFC, but every RFC is not a BAPI.
VC requires only RFC..it does not mandate a BAPI. That is all I meant

No, you will have to crate a BAPI and call that BAPI from VC.
The BAPI can output the same content as ALV to VC.
doesnt have to be a BAPI - just needs to be an RFC
