Sales Area Pop Up is Coming

Hello SAP Friends,

I am not getting sales area pop up can you tell me how to make it correct.

Steps to Repeat Problem:-

Step 1 :- Go to MM01

Step 2:- Select Industrial Sector :- Mechanical , Material Type :- Semi Finished. Press Enter

Step 3:- Select Sales view press enter .

Here i am getting not getting pop up to put sales area data .

Can you give me setting's to get it appear.

The problem is also user dependent with another user i am not getting that problem.

Hi,

If you are getting pop up for sales area for one user and not for other, the reason the other user is not allowed authorisation to sales area.....

just check with your technical/basis person for the role assigned for other user...

hi

while creating a sales order you enter the customer, material & qtys

when the customer you are entering is created only for a particulat sales area

then you will not have any popup

but if the same customer is created for many sales areas then you will have a popup asking for which sales area, the customer is placing an order at this point of time...

ther's no customozing to in this

Dear Bhavesh

Go to OMS2, select the material type HALB and click on blue lens on top left so that the system will take you to a screen, where under the tab "User description", select "Sales" and save. Now go to MM01 and retry.

Dear Bavesh,

It related to Material type issue.For semifinished materials may not get sales area data that means those materials will not sellable.

Based on the material type the views of the material master will come.

If you want that settings take help from MM people they will help you on that,.
