RBA requested date of created purchase requisition

Hello, community,

we are using the rules based ATP with Location Substitution.

If there is not enough quantity available in plant A System is checking the open quantity in plant B and is confirming the customer order against open ATP quantity of plant B. To save this quantity System is directly creating ATP Tree model and afterwards a firmed purchase Requisition.

The requesting Date of the purchase Requisition is always the confirmed delivery date in plant B. Therefore you are not able to see the original requesting date of the requirement of plant A in the purchase Requisition in plant B.

Example: customer order Requested for 15.12. in plant A. Nothing available in plant A but in plant B System is finding the whole quantity for february next year. The created purchase Requisition has now the requested date of february, but not for december.

It could be possible that plant B can improve their production and the material could already be available earlier than february. But they will never know that the purchase Requisition would be needed earlier than february, except they had a look into plant A.

Is this SAP Standard behaviour 'Works as designed' or is there a possibility to have the scheduled requested date (dependent on Transportation, etc.) in the purchase Requisition?

Thanks for Feedback!

Best regards,
