Valuation of material ......... in valuation area ....... inconsistent

Dear Friends,

When user try to post MR11, he is getting error message as "Valuation of material .......... in valuation area ....... inconsistent"

Please let me know how to resolve the issue.

Hi Suresh,

If the error code is C+048 then you will need to contact SAP Support as the material in MM or the material ledger needs correcting.Only SAP support can do this.

Create the ticket for the application area CO-PC-ACT and ensure that you have note 364368 installed as this provides the ML Helpdesk.

If you don't use the material ledger try a note search as it would appear to be incorrect response from the system.

If you dont know if ML is active you can check in CKM9 for the valuation area.
