Hi all!

I was wondering if any of you have ever encountered this error in sm21 before?

ITS, Error during character conversion (internally), replaced character by #

We are getting lots of these kind of errors in our production, though it doesn't effect business it is flooding the system logs and effecting our alert system due to the influx of errors.

Hi Chris,

I have not seen this error in a while now.

Is it the same(or similar) as in this note

Hi Oisin,

The error is similar, but not quite the same, the kernel levels are different though, ours is 722 ext and BASIS is 731 sp12.

in the trace file it goes like this, I am wondering is it because our system is not Unicode, and they might be putting in some Unicode characters very frequently?:
