workflow: mail not sent to in inbox

hi,

have deveploped the simple workflow.Actualy the wf which i have created having three options.

Approve:if user chooses this option mail has to sent to its recepients.

like the approve one more option is reject.

my pbm is when i choose option 'cancel and keep workitem in inbox' means the workitem has sent to inbox.

if i choose approve or reject its corresponding mail havent sent to its recepients.(that is mail not sent to inbox)

pl help tel me wat to do.Thanks in advance.

Please check what is the status of the emails send task in the Wflow Log from SWIA Tcode. If everything is fine please check whether there is any entries in SOSt tcode.

Hi Ranganayahi,

Please check whether the exeternal mail is configured or not..

also check the Workflow Log.whether the email id is being shown on the container when the send item is used.
