workflow: mail not sent to in inbox



have deveploped the simple workflow.Actualy the wf which i have created having three options.

Approve:if user chooses this option mail has to sent to its recepients.

like the approve one more option is reject.

my pbm is when i choose option 'cancel and keep workitem in inbox' means the workitem has sent to inbox.

if i choose approve or reject its corresponding mail havent sent to its recepients.(that is mail not sent to inbox)

pl help tel me wat to do.Thanks in advance.
