Hello,
I have a question about the XML-Structure a JDBC Adapter requires. I want to insert a new Dataset in a Database via receiver JDBC-Adapter. Table is called TMS_EXTSYS. I want to insert the columns EXTSYSID, NAME and MOD.
In XI everything works until reaching Adapterframework, (Message-Monitoring) showing me the created XML-Message. XML-Structure looks like that:
<ns1:MT_RFCtoJDBC>
<JDBC_INSERT>
<TMS_ExtSysEventCall action="INSERT">
<table>TMS_EXTSYS</table>
<access>
<MOD>3</MOD>
<NAME>4</NAME>
<EXTSYSID>36</EXTSYSID>
</access>
</TMS_ExtSysEventCall>
</JDBC_INSERT>
</ns1:MT_RFCtoJDBC>
The way I understand the Syntax from http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/DE/22/b4d13b633f7748b4d34f3191529946/frameset.htm, I think this should be ok?
I hope your great support will help me once more.
edit: The answer-message (from Message-Monitoring) is :com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: JDBC Adapter configuration not initialized: null

Hi Daniel,
then ask your XI basis guys to check the firewall settings between XI server and DB server..................or ask from your xi basis guys to provide you a remote desktop connection or some other software so that you can access XI server from your local computer.

Hi Daniel,
in XI in RWB in comm channel monitoring, check the status of receiver JDBC comm channel.....if it is having some error, then rectify it in ID.............if it is green, then check in your db server, is the table in which you are inserting the data has anyother field which is mandatory and you are not sending it by XI........check all the fields for their types and see if their is any mismatch in the data you are sending from XI.

Today I checked out the scenario again. I doesn't seem to be still working. But I did not change a thing during weekend. That's really strange.
That's what channel monitoring says:

In communication channel monitoring the channel doesn't get green anymore. Friday(when it worked) it was green I think. Pressing start and stop buttons doesn't have any effect any more. How can I get the status to green again?

Check the following:
1. The firewall ports are open for the communication of XI with the database
2. Proper username and password is used for connection with database
3. Conneciton string is proper

Hi Daniel,
the JDBC Receiver Datatype looks ok.
Do you have installed the JDBC driver of your target database?
