Dear SAP Business ByDesign Experts,

We have been exposed to those requirements by many clients and prospects. I appreciate your help in shedding lights on those questions:

1.If expenses exceed the budget, like for instance Cost Centre “Actual” exceed Cost Centre “Planned”? In this case, can’t we make notifications at SAP Business ByDesign to make the user easily aware of this?

2.If the project expenses exceed the budget, can’t we also as well make the user aware of that, via notifications?

3.The bill of exchange is excluded from most of the tenants. However, most of our customers and prospects in the MENA region use this feature. So, it is possible to add a bill of exchange for some customers’ tenants upon their request?

4.Can SAP Business ByDesign propose a notification when the bill of exchange becomes due in “Notes Receivable”?

Hello Amr,

1, 2 : No, system is not checking the values planned with the actual values. So there is no possibility to trigger task or warning or error during the business transaction postings. Only option could be to broadcast the report to the relevant user.

3 : The bill of exchange (BoE) payment method is used in Spain, France, and Italy only.

4 : I think it is available but would need to test.
