consuming webservice and create sapui5 apps - SCP

how can we consume external webservices in SAP cloud platform and create SAPUI5 apps from those.

Hi Yashpal

To consume webservices from SAP Cloud Platform you need to create destinations and call it inside your apps.

Here you have a good example on how to create a destination and consume it in your sapui5 app:

And here you can see the same configuration of this destination in a official help of SAP:

But, if you want to consume odata services from your onPremise backend, you will need also a SAP Cloud Connector.

Thanks for your reply ,but the examples provided are for odata services not for webservices.

is it possible to create destination for webservices ? any example ?





I'm also looking for example on creating destination for web services. Let me know if you have found the answer.

Hi Richard,

thanks for your reply . the link talks about system integrations.but i am looking for an example where we can create destinations for webservices ( SAP MDM ) and consume it via SAPUI5 applications.
