Hi
We use DTPs to load data into info objects. The DTP background jobs failed because of a short dump. The error has now been fixed but the DTP status in the process monitor is still yellow. We are not allowed to change the status of the DTP manually in the process monitor (it is disabled).
How do we change the status of the DTP in the process monitor to red?
In the info packages we are able to change the status manually. This is not possible in DTPs. In the info packages, it was also possible set the maximum runtime of the load. Isnt this functionality added to the DTPs?
Kind regards
Erik

Does your info object have attributes? is that how you are updating the data to it? And is it displayed in the Info Provider screen?
If so, expand it so you can see the attribute tab, right click on this and go to manage.
In there it should show you your data load. Click on the yellow traingle and it should give you the option to change it to red.
This is in BI 7, if you are using BI 3.5 it might be different.
Also, if you do not have your info object in your info provider tree, go to
info provider, find the section of the tree to where you'd like the IO, right click, "insert characteristic as infoprovider" and then do the above steps.
I hope this is useful to you. If I need to clarify any points, just ask...

In the infoprovider admin screen, try clicking on the plain square next to the "yellow triangle". Sometimes it gives you the option to change in there.
If you can't get to it through there, its the "where used " icon in the DTP monitor.
If that doesn't work I'm stuck, sorry!
Hope you find it...
Alice
