what is the use of Outline agreement requisition

Hi,

I notice that there is a standard doc.type for requisition for outline agreement which is RV. However i know as well that actually we can create outline agreement referring to the PR with doc. type NB as well, so what is the special about RV in here?

In outline agreement actually we can put qty as 0 (if it is value based contract), so at first I thought that we can put qty 0 as well when creating RV; but this is not happening, so I dont know what is the use of RV in here.

Out line agrrement requisition does not require the delivery date but NB reqs require.

This reqs can be used for service or consignment purhcase where if you don't know the fix delivery date and you want to create the reqs then it is useful.
