getting error when trying to /scwm/vasexec - Selected work center does not fit the transaction

Hi

I am getting below error when trying to /scwm/vasexec

Selected work center does not fit the transaction

Message no. /SCWM/UI_PACKING114

I have created work center KITO (for kitting) correctly for my EWM warehouse and did all the relevant config...Not sure what is missing. For your advise please.

Doesn't the error message say enough?

So I doubt that 😉

Please check the assigned work center layout for your work center. Which transaction type does it show? Because according the message it does not say "Execution VAS".

Thanks Juergen..I had forgotten to add txn type..now it works.
