Different partner functions

Hi All,

Can we have different mandatory partner functions like SP,SH,BP and PY in both header and item level?

Could u please explain with scenario.

I agree with u we need not have different sold to party's my question is can v have different bill to party, payer at header and item level in a sales order.

You can have, but then the billing document will be split for all the items with different payers.

Dear sasikanth

At Header Level, you can have ONLY one partner function. But at item level, you can change the partner function.

Moreover, Sold to party is the one who places the order on you. So there will always be one sold to party for an order and multiple ship to parties, bill to parties, payer. This being the case, can you please let me know why you want multiple sold to party for one order ??

Hi,

In which document you want to have different partner functions at both header and item level.

See if you define different partner function at header level and item level, there will be a split while creating the subsequent document.

If you want to send a combine delivery or combined item wise order its better to keep the header and item partners the same.
