hi,

some ICF service must be inactive

do this execute the report in sm38 SXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES

and in rz10 in intance profile, modify the value of

icm/server_port_0 for this value

PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$,TIMEOUT=30,PROCTIMEOUT=602

also see this

Hi Rodrigo,

I have activated the ICF services with the report

RSXMB_ACTIVATE_ICF_SERVICES.

I dont see any profiles in the newly installed system.

when i go to RZ10 and there i tried to select the profile and i dont see any profile.

Do i need to create the profiles ? or we get them with the installation ?

any help would be appreciated

Hi,

Did u tried to check other tabs of RWB. if it is giving the error then might be a case ur RWB password is locked.

hi,

i think you are doing something bad, you should see the profiles.

also, check the parameter of exchange profile if you set the server name full mode <server + domain> this kind of error is related with this too.

Thanks

Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for all the guys helping me to solve the issue. I appreciate all of your efforts.

Rodrigo you are right, i was not maintaing the fully qualified name as <server + domain> and

the value in the parameter

as in the Note 768456 - Troubleshooting Runtime Workbench

1. Sometimes the parameter com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpport (or com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.httpsport) is set to 5<sysnr>00. This is the wrong port, instead the http port of the Web Application Server has to be entered. It can be found in transaction SMICM -> GoTo -> Parameters -> Display (tpyically 80<sysnr>).

It was 50100 before and i have changed to 8001. Now i was able to login to both Alert Inbox and Alert Configuration successfully.

can you plz explain why we enter the ABAP port here and the RWB is on java stack, as i understand all the alert configu we are doing on the ABAP stack and thats why we need to maintain the connection between the ABAP and Java stack.

correct me if i am wrong ?

Thanks,

Srini
