Variable as Calculation View Input Parameter

Is it possible to send variables as input parameters to Calculation Views?

/*********BEGIN PROCEDURE SCRIPT ************/
BEGIN
DECLARE NAME_FILTER VARCHAR(2);
NAME_FILTER := 'AB';
SELECT "NAME" AS NM FROM "_SYS_BIC"."system-local.test/MY_CV" ('PLACEHOLDER' = ('$IN_COUNTRY$', :NAME_FILTER));
...
END;
/********** END PROCEDURE SCRIPT *************/

I have tried using :NAME_FILTER, 'NAME_FILTER' and ':NAME_FILTER' and all of them does not work.

I read that the APPLY_FILTER might be able to do so. Any examples?

Thanks

    One option would be that:

    SELECT "NAME" AS NM FROM "_SYS_BIC"."system-local.test/MY_CV" (PLACEHOLDER."$$IN_COUNTRY$$" => :NAME_FILTER);
